Summary:

A tragedy made them lose their life spirits, Aki Hakala from The Rasmus lost his brother and nephew in a plane crash, almost at the same time as he lost his wife as she gave birth to their child. The child had no one else then him, but he couldn’t get himself together… he was blaming the child for the death of his wife…

His best friend, who was married to his brother, she lost her life spirit as she lost her son and husband, but her feelings for Aki hadn’t gone anywhere… But she was to numb in her own pain to see what he and everyone else was going through… what would wake her and bring her back to life?

Lauri and his fiancée took care of Aki’s new-born daughter, but they couldn’t do that forever… they had their own lives and their best friends on their hands too. And a tour coming up…


Chapter 1

Smoke and screams blinded them as the plane crashed into the deep blue sea. Water poured inside the plane, making them all terrified, even worse then they already were. Among them sat a young woman with her 3 month old son in her arms, she protected him against the water and smoke. Suddenly the planes nose tipped down and forced the plane to dive deep into the sea…

“JOSHUA” A woman screamed as her little boy slipped out of her arms, her husband pushed her backwards towards the, for the moment, safe area. He himself dived down after their little son. “BRETT NOOOOOOOOO.” She shouted, knowing in that instant that she had lost the love of her life and their son… Her husband…

Her scream silenced with the water that kept on rising… Suddenly the plane was filled with water she couldn’t breathe. Suddenly, just as she felt her vision getting darkened, a mask was put against the mouth. It didn’t help much, all her thoughts was on the little boy she lost… she couldn’t think, couldn’t fight. She had nothing left to fight for…

“Alex… Alexia… Alexandra… Come on hun wake up. Please wake up” A voice came through the darkness… A voice worth fighting for.

“Come on Alexis, wake up for us. Alexis I know you can, fight for us, for me, I can’t lose my best friend…” A male voice said, making her fight to open her eyes, but she failed, it was to hard and to painful to open her eyelids.

“She’s coming out of it, go get the doctor, Linda get the doctor” Another male voice said, it actually brought a smile up on her lips. “Come on my birdie friend. Come back to the world of living, you’ll even get one of my feathers if you do, you can cut my hair or colour it any colour you want.” The voice continued. She fought once again to open her eyelids, this time she saw the faces around herself, she quickly closed her eyes against the bright light.

“Turn the light off moron” A male voice muttered, another smile came up on her lips till…

“We lost the other ones…” A woman voice was heard from the other side of the hospital door. Tears began to fill her eyes, the tears cascaded down her face and down on the pillow bellow her head. They were really gone… her life… was over… there were no reason to live if they weren’t there with her…

“I know Alexis… It hurts… I lost my brother and nephew/godson… But don’t give up, please don’t give up, we need you. I need you.” The male voice said, looking at him she knew it was Aki… her very best friend… Crying she opened her eyes, the doctor had to sedate her cause of the state she was in…

“Come Aki, you ok?” Aki’s friend Lauri the birdie said.

“No I…” Aki said but was cut off.

“Aki, Liina is in labour, it doesn’t look good…” A man said softly to his friend

“Eero…” Aki said, Eero lead the way for Aki. Aki had just lost his brother, Alexia’s husband. And he had also lost his nephew and godson… and now he risked losing his wife and unborn child.

As they reached the room they heard the scream of a baby… a baby girl… But the man that came out and met them didn’t look to happy…

“I’m sorry Mr. Heinonen, Mr. Hakala… Mrs Hakala didn’t make it… But you got a very beautiful…” The doctor said, Aki didn’t listen to him. He stopped listening after knowing he had lost his wife… The child had taken her away from him… he just turned and left…

Chapter 2

Sighing he saw the two girls standing by the stage. He knew that his girlfriend was comforting her twin sister. It had gone 3 month now… and it was the first day in these months that she seemed to show emotions…

“Are you ok Taylor?” His brother asked with an arm around his shoulders.

“Yeah Isaac… it’s just so hard to see them so sad… I can’t believe that it’s gone 3 month already… I’m going down to check on them ok?” Taylor said to his older brother who simply nodded.

From the distance he saw tears rolled down both the girls faces. “I miss him. Haley I need them.” He heard his girlfriend’s twin sister whisper.

“I know you do Alexia. I know you do… ” Haley said as she tried to comfort her sister, she had her arms around Alexia. All the while Taylor tried to make his way over to the stage, there were allot of workers putting up the stage for the show later that day. Taylor saw one of their bodyguards taking a hold of Alexia and Haley’s shoulders. Taylor hurried over to them but was to late…

“Come on girls, the boys can’t wait all day long” A man said, trying to lead the girls from the front stage, they had been looking around the arena Haley’s boyfriend’s band would play at…

“They’ll have to wait or just go without me” Alexia said, tore herself away from his grip on her shoulder and ran passed them.

“Christopher, you’re such a damn idiot!!” Haley said. Haley looked after the Alexia but couldn’t see her anymore… ‘Oh Alexia… Sis…’ She thought.

“What happened to your twin Haley?” A voice said behind her, turning around she fell into the arms of her boyfriend.

“She misses THEM…” Haley whispered.

“We’ll try to find her, don’t you worry. I’ll call Zac, he and his girl probably knows where Alexia is… you know she always turns to them…” Taylor said as he still held his girl and picked up his phone just as it rung.

“Yeah I’m here, can you ask Zac if he’s heard from Alexandra? She’s gone… she hasn’t been herself since she lost him… them… She was so happy… and then she lost both of them…” Taylor said.

Alexia stopped running as she reached the graveyard… kneeling beside a family grave she began to speak as tears fell down her face.

“I miss you both so much… I need you…” She whispered in tears. A hand on her shoulder made her lean into someone’s arms and cry.

“Shh its ok Alexia. I know… I know…” The man said as he wrapped his arms closer around her.

“They really are gone…Zac bring them back.” She cried. Zac just held her closer as she kept on repeating ‘Bring them back’. As she was calming down he began to speak to her, letting her know what happened while she was in her own world. She had been out of the hospital for 2 days. It was 3 month since her husband, child and Aki’s wife died…

“Aki lost his wife… he blames his little girl… she is 3 month old and got no one that cares…” Zac said, knowing that he’d get her off her self-destruction thoughts as he saw the light returning back into his close friend’s eyes.

“He lost his brother, nephew and wife…” Alexia said as she was drying her tears, something about her changed at that realisation…

“Zac is with her” She said to her friend, her friend didn’t look up, she just nodded as she was feeding a little baby girl with a bottle.

“I hope she’ll open her eyes soon… I love the little girl but for God’s sake or at least the little girls sake… she needs a name… I wish Aki could wake up… I’d like to throw a bucket with freezing cold water.” The woman with the baby in her arms said.

“I know CeeCee, calm down. Kerrie, the girl and the baby in your belly isn’t feeling well if you aren’t.” Her friend said.

“I know Linda… I don’t know if I can bare to lose my babies… I don’t know how Lexi managed to survive… and to lose them both…” Kerrie said.

“I know honey. Now lets focus on making Alexia to snap out of this 3 month long cloudy thingy” Linda said.
